Just the Job – a Henchman Platform

We’re delighted to support the brilliant work of North Yorkshire based Just the Job Environmental Enterprise by supplying them with a Henchman Hi Step Platform at cost.

Just the Job is a charity and social enterprise empowering adults with disabilities to achieve their potential by doing valuable work in the community and our Henchman Platform has already been in action on several of their gardening contracts.  

Explained Just the Job manager Steve Biggs: “The Henchman is used for cutting taller hedges and shrubs, largely in private gardens. Our gardening contracts give our team members the opportunity to access life skills training, social activities and employment opportunities as well as earning extra income for the organisation.  

“We carried out an internet search to look for a solution to working in awkward situations and the Henchman seemed to have been designed specifically for the purpose. We used to use a small platform or traditional step ladders, but having a Henchman now means we can access more hedges and be a lot more confident and safer with those we have been cutting over the years. It is superb!”
