Henchman's New Tripod Ladders and Lifting Harness win prestigious awards
Industry leader, Henchman has been crowned a double winner at the European Product Design Awards and awarded the prestigious iF Design Award for two pioneering garden products - the Fully Adjustable Tripod Ladder and Henchman Lifting Harness.
Henchman’s new innovations were created and produced in partnership with Tone Product Design.
Following a redesign of Henchman’s popular Tripod Ladder last summer, the new-and-improved Fully Adjustable Tripod Ladder is the only of its kind on the market to be certified to EN131 standards. It features three individually adjustable legs with extra wide feet, patent-pending hedge-proof locking pins and a platform with a guardrail, allowing users to work wobble and hands-free at height. Available in both standard and Pro ranges, the ladders range from 5ft to 16ft.
The new Henchman Lifting Harness, which comes to market this month, takes up to 100% of the weight of heavy garden tools and is compatible with gardening equipment such as hedgecutters, pole saws, strimmers and blowers. The clever kit is designed to reduce back strain and arm fatigue, allowing users to work safely and with more concentration and control.

The iF Design Awards are widely considered one of the most important design awards in the world, this year saw over 10,800 innovations entered from 72 countries, with only the highest quality products being shortlisted.
